Jam with the band – 5:30-7:15 pm

Bushwick Mountain Boys
with Chris Luquette

The Bushwick Mountain Boys were formed in 2023 to satisfy New York City’s urge for tight harmonies in Bluegrass music along with featuring NYC’s finest musicians. Their combined professional bluegrass music experience expands for over 40 years. The Bushwick Mountain Boys’ fine harmonies feature spicy solos and a dynamic sense rarely heard in modern music.

Seattle native, two-time Grammy nominee, Chris Luquette, formerly of Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, has teamed up with excellent banjo player, Ellery Marshall, fiery mandolinist, Cesar Moreno, and renowned bassist, Shane McGeehan.

Ellery Marshall hails from Los Angeles, but has lived in NYC for nearly 20 years. His playing echoes the greats from Earl Scruggs to Tom Adams.

NYC native, Cesar Moreno, is one of the finest tenor singers in bluegrass music. He plays everything, classic bluegrass mandolin, Dawg music, and jazz with ease.

Bassist, Shane McGeehan, is a talented bassist and singer from the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. Currently, he resides in France’s southwestern region. He is also a first call bluegrass musician who spends time in NYC. Shane was a founding member of festival favorites, Serene Green.

The Bushwick Mountain Boys have a variety of regular gigs in New York and can be seen at music venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
